The second edition includes an additional chapter to assist professionals as they guide families through conversations about financial, legal, medical and end-of-life issues, as well as concerns about safety, social connectedness and day-to-day needs. This book is intended to act as a guide, not a follow this path and all will be well roadmap. There are as many routes to the goal of safety and sanity as there are families taking the journey to assist loved ones. Just as you plan a trip, Slepner helps you plan a path through your loved ones older years.
